TAMING THE SAT SPRING AND FALL BROCHURE

SAT:

You may register for the SAT Reasoning test and SAT Subjects test here.  There are practice test questions and information on AP Credit policies.  To send your scores to all CSU Mentor, enter code 3594.  It will make your scores available to all CSU's.  Click here for the Additional Score report Order form if you prefer to request additional reports through the mail.

Collegeboard.com offers an official SAT practice test, as well as practice questions and an online SAT test prep for a fee.  Click here for details.

Register early to get the test center closest to you and be on time for your test!  There are no late starts.

ACT:

You may register for the ACT by clicking here.  Test dates for 2008-2009 can be found here.  They also offer sample tests here.

Fallbrook High School does not offer the ACT on it's campus, but it is available at other nearby locations.  Palomar College in San Marcos, Mira Costa College in Oceanside, and Orange Glen High School in Escondido offer the ACT.  Please check the website for dates available at your favorite location.  Not all test centers offer tests on all dates available.

TERMS YOU SHOULD KNOW WHEN YOU REGISTER:

Registration deadline Register by this date to avoid late fees.
Late registration Waiting for late registration adds a late fee to your regular fees.
Standby testing After the Late registration day has passed, you must fill out a registration form and bring it with you the day of the test along with a check for regular registration fees and standby testing fees.  This options costs more than Late registration.
College Codes Both the SAT and the ACT allow you to choose up to four schools and/or scholarship programs to send your scores when you register at no extra charge.  Sending your scores at a later date, or listing more than four schools, will require additional funds.  If you register online, there is a search engine to help you find the codes.  If you register through the mail, you will need to look up the listing in the registration booklet.  To send scores at a later date, log on to the website where you registered and it will have information on sending your scores.
